The other famous print from Hokusai's Mount Fuji series. Mount Fuji depicted is red due to the sunlight in early morning of Summer, as hinted by the snow remaining on the summit (A similar depiction can be seen in this [link]).

The series "The Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji" was created between 1826-1833, originally conceived for 36 prints, ten more were added after the original publication. It depicts the famous Mount Fuji viewed from a variety of locations and meteorological conditions. Another famous ukiyo-e artist Hiroshige (広重) also made 36 prints on the same subject thirty years later (冨士三十六景, also "Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji").
